Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Lynn Hatcher was born on December 8 1964 in Palo Alto, California. Her mother, Esther, was a computer programmer at Lockheed Martin, and her father, Owen, was an electrical engineer as well as a nuclear physicist. Teri trained in ballet at San Juan School of Dance, and was raised in Sunnyvale. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain and was presented with the "Most Likely To Be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher was a graduate of De Anza College, where she was a mathematician and engineer. She also attended acting classes at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri disclosed that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually assaulted her starting at when she was just five. She also helped Santa Clara County prosecutors in their investigation into Stone after Stone's 14-year-old victim committed suicide. Stone was sentenced to prison for pleading guilty to four counts of molestation, and then he died from colon cancer in prison
