Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican American who was raised within El Paso. Her family is one that has entertainment genes. From a very young age, Karla (Host on the Univision show Despierta America!) and others from the family were close to her. Since she was a child the family of her mother was surrounded by television show hosts like Karla Martinez (Host of Univision's Despierta America! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the largest electric utilities in America. SCE is accountable for the business's programs, activities and policies that focus on safety and security of its employees. Martinez offers safety professionals the mentorship and programs they need to achieve workgroup safety goals. Martinez's previous position was that of Director for Safety Training and Compliance, Transmission & Distribution. In the past, Martinez served as Director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. Over the 30-year period he spent at SCE, Martinez held a number of positions of leadership in programs that were designed to improve performance as well as corrective actions. These included positions at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS which focused on protecting the safety of both employees and the public.
