Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's food is a way to get inside her world. It is her food that inspires curiosity. This was the result after she stepped outside of the Long Island suburbs and entered the culturally diverse landscape in Los Angeles. Her belief in the idea that cavatelli and carnitas are able to coexist effortlessly on a menu portrays a style that continues to evolve. With every dish she serves she draws a picture that is distinct and speaks to a longing for the past. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant that was founded by Lofaso in 2013. She opened it due to her American-born Italian heritage. Lofaso's old-school Italian interpretation is considered one of Los Angeles' most captivating restaurants. Lofaso has been consistently highly acclaimed by patrons of Scopa's for its food, which is authentic and deliciously enjoyable. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary who employed sophisticated methods. However, she was not afraid to take huge risk to follow her instincts. Following her rapid rise to the top of the ladder She transformed a variety of Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while being in contact with celebrities. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. The home of Lofaso was located within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. Lofaso was able to finally experience the freedom of expression she had longed for. Black Market does not have one direction which is the reason why it was created. In 2012, Lofaso was a part of Penguin to release"The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 recipes for quick Delicious Home-cooked Meals and describes the obstacles she faced during her time at the prestigious French Culinary Institute, and while caring for her child Xea. Lofaso claims that her enthusiasm in cooking is the primary factor behind her success. She stays at the forefront of her field through keeping a keen watch on fashion trends and trends.
